Coated Alloy Roll Forming Benefits

  • Saves Time: The roll forming process won’t damage coated metals like other processes will, eliminating the need for additional protective finishing processes.
  • Consistency: Roll forming has been a relied upon manufacturing process for high-volume products for a reason—it’s consistent. Roll forming can produce uniform products across entire production runs without die marks or deformities.
  • Efficient: Roll forming, especially our process at MMC, is efficient and products significantly less material waste than other metalworking processes like welding, extrusion, machining, and stamping.
  • Durability: Products created during the roll forming process are strong and don’t contain any compromising tears or other breakage.

Capabilities

Our state-of-the-art, Michigan-based facility features 14 roll mills, which allows us to create virtually any lineal profile and hold tolerances up to +/- 0.010” on profile dimensions.

To help you save time and money, we offer in-house pre-piercing, cutoff, and notching, offline fabrication and assembly, and a pre-made tooling library. If we can find pre-existing tooling for your project, we’ll use it at no additional cost to you.

We offer several coating options, including pre-painted on one or two sides, embossing, galvanized (up to G360), and anodized.

Why Choose MMC?

  • Short Turnaround Times: Manufacturing is a demanding, fast-paced industry. MMC is capable of handling and fulfilling high-volume orders and meeting strict deadlines for customers in the United States.
  • Domestic: Everything we make is produced in-house in the U.S. and never offshored.
  • Turnkey: MMC offers many value-added capabilities for assemblies, including pre-piercing, cutoff, and notching. We can also coordinate delivery for you.
  • Knowledgeable: If you’re not sure what you need for your project, you can request a design consultation with one of our engineers.
  • Cost-Effective: Every part of our process is designed to help you reduce costs, and that includes using pre-existing tooling when possible. Tooling is not only the most expensive part of roll forming, but also the most time-consuming and labor-intensive part. By eliminating this step, we can help you save both time and money.
  • Fast Communication: As soon as you contact MMC, we’ll provide a quote (or schedule a consultation with you) within 24 hours.
